A jar of homemade biscotti as a thank you gift... just add ribbon. Once I find ribbon ;)

just a simple picture of Max at the park today. He found this toad (look closely....) and he was so patient and sweet with that little animal. He took it around to all the little kids at the park and showed it to them and asked them if they wanted to hold it, too. {sigh} It was so sweet, it nearly took my breath away -how patient he was and all. He desperately wanted to take it home and "study" it (his words), but I said, "It would be like taking it all the way to Russia! It would miss it's home and family!" So, no toad in the car... but it's so hard to deny that sweet smile.
{funny?}
Lately, Gabriel has been very much into making these "Funny" faces... actually, they're a bit scary sometimes. He made me grab the camera for the one below, but the one above, I found on my camera. Silly boy in this house.

maybe next week, I'll get this in on the actual posting date.... Thursday!
in the meantime, I'll be enjoying the days as they come
What's going on here? Why does it look different? I don't like change. I do like you, though.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the picture of the bottom drawer contents. If you only saw mine...
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by the blog (it sounds so important when I say it that way, doesn't it?) So glad you're enjoying the Civil Wars. They are my cup of tea right now, that's for sure.
You have such a lovely blog. Nice to 'meet' you!
